Pon Power AS Genflex system was developed to minimize vibration in the generator. The generator is part of the electrical installation of the ship and our genflex design provides stable and reliable electrical power for many years. We have inspected generators inside after several years of operation, and find the condition inside the generator as almost new. Degradation due vibrations is almost eliminated.
In order to minimize the maintenance of the geneflex system, Pon Power, in cooperation with its suppliers, has developed its own design of isolators between the engine and frame. This provides optimal operation over many years. Height adjustment on isolators also provides very easy adjustment when needed. Pon Power AS has delivered hundreds of such generating sets and can document very good results.
