Pon Power is the sole distributor of CAT power solutions in Norway. Typical applications are propulsion engines, auxiliary engines and gensets, with a power range from 6.4 to 5420 kW. We supply primary- and emergency power to the maritime sector, oil & gas installations and land-based industries. Pon Power has 150 employees, a third of which are field service mechanics. We have a wide service network with easy access to overhauls / repairs, and original CAT and MaK parts, as well as technical support available 24/7.
Our Engineering and Project department has a well proven track record developing and delivering high quality power solutions. Our own Genflex™ marine generator set is produced at our main office outside Oslo. Genflex™ is currently the preferred power solution for SOV’s (offshore wind service vessels). Pon Power is also the market leader for back-up power solutions to data centers.
Pon Power has a strong focus on innovation and in 2021 we opened our new Hybrid Test Center (HTC). The main purpose of the HTC is to develop and test sustainable power solutions. Pon Power is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. We are dedicated to Diversity and Inclusion in our workplace.
Pon Equipment is our sister company and the only distributor of Caterpillar machines in Norway. They offer Cat construction machines in the size classes from 0.9 tons up to 256 tons.
